Fiction writers may want to note the Morning News' article on the New Yorker's fiction policies with regard to unsolicited pieces under new fiction editor Deborah Teisman. Says Teisman, "Someone who s submitting themselves directly to the fiction editor probably isn t all that savvy about publishing and probably not about writing either."
