Ever since John Galliano flamed out and was fired as head designer for Dior after an anti-Semitic rant, the historic French fashion house has been without a creative director. Apparently very American (and ironically very Jewish) designer Marc Jacobs might fill the position.

Even though head designer John Galliano was fired for an anti-Semitic tirade earlier this week, Dior still had to show its fall/winter collection at Paris Fashion Week today. CEO Sidney Toledano addressed the crowd before the presentation, saying, "What has happened over the last week has been a terrible and wrenching ordeal for us all. It has been deeply painful to see the Dior name associated with the disgraceful statements attributed to its designer. However brilliant he may be."

The moment was captured by a friend of the couple. In it, Galliano is seen slurring his words, but clearly stating: "I love Hitler" and "People like you would be dead. Your mothers, your forefathers, would all be f****** gassed." Last week, Dior suspended Galliano over his arrest at the Paris bar where police reports allege the designer assaulted a couple and made anti-Semitic remarks.
