Fox News Anchor Buys on East 79th

Kimberly Guilfoyle is moving on. The Fox News anchor, who announced in June that she was splitting from her second husband, furniture store heir Eric Villency, has picked up a new apartment. Guilfoyle paid $1.3 million for a three-bedroom co-op at 229 East 79th Street. Guilfoyle's first marriage was to Gavin Newsom, the mayor of San Francisco. [Cityfile]
Donald Trump Jr. and wife Vanessa have closed on an apartment at The Sovereign on East 58th Street, which they went into contract to purchase earlier this summer. The couple paid $1.125 million for the 1,800-square-foot apartment. [Cityfile]
• Investor Enrique Foster Gittes is cutting another $2 million off the price of his 13,000-square-foot townhouse at 12 East 63rd Street, less than three weeks after dropping the price to $23.5 million.
