Here's the trailer for The Ides of March, a political thriller loosely based on the play Farragut North (which was loosely based on Howard Dean's 2004 presidential campaign) that features George Clooney pulling triple duty as director, writer and star.

Here's the trailer for Paranormal Activity 3, which, like its predecessors, focuses on Katie, a good-turned-evil suburban girl. And just like the franchise's second installment, it looks like we're in for another prequel, going back all the way to 1988 this time. The trailer promises to help us "discover the secret behind the activity" and is predictably full of creepy girl glares, creepy girl games (Bloody Mary!), and other things of a creepy girl nature. Paranormal Activity 3 will hit theaters this October—just in time for Halloween, naturally.

Here's the trailer for Hugo, a 3D fantasy/adventure film that will hit theaters this November. Based on Brian Selznick's children's novel The Invention of Hugo Cabret and directed by none other than Martin Scorsese, Hugo tells the story of an orphan who lives in the walls of a 1930s Paris train station. A mysterious/magical train station! The movie stars Sacha Baron-Cohen and Ben Kingsley, among others, and while Joe Pesci is conspicuously absent, Hugo still looks to be a Thanksgiving Weekend must-see. [via NYM]

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2, the eighth and final installment in the series, comes out on Friday. And whether you remember details from the previous films or not, a little refresher can't hurt, can it? In his latest film, Tabloid, documentary filmmaker Errol Morris revisits a bizarre story that dominated the British rags 30 years ago. It was a simpler time. Voicemail hadn't yet been invented, so there was nothing to hack. Our heroine, Joyce McKinney, was a busty former Miss Wyoming with an I.Q. of 168. Living then in L.A., McKinney hired a pilot, a private detective, and several musclebound bodyguards, and set off to England to rescue the runaway fiance she was convinced had been brainwashed by the Mormon Church.

Now that BBQing and fireworking and all that is done for the summer, it's time to get back to the movies. Debuting this weekend we have bad bosses, badass rappers, and bad Kevin James comedy.

Here's a trailer for The Undefeated, the ironically named new "documentary" about Sarah Palin and her quest for world domination. The trailer is as exaggerated as Palin's talking points. Here's a trailer for War Horse, directed by Steven Spielberg and slated to open in theaters on December 28. Set in Europe during World War I, War Horse tells the story of a boy, Albert, and his beloved horse named Joey. When the two are forcibly separated, Albert attempts to track Joey across Europe's war-torn trenches, which—as you'll see in the trailer—provide a visually stunning backdrop for what Spielberg is billing as an "epic adventure." Did somebody say Oscar?

Here's a trailer for Brave, Pixar's first fairy tale—and first film featuring a female lead—which will hit theaters next June. Set in the Scottish Highlands, Brave tells the story of a little red-headed warrior princess named Merida and her courageous fight against the tradition of her land and a mysterious, menacing beast. And considering this is a Pixar film we're talking about, it shouldn't be long before Merida has the hearts of moviegoers everywhere.

On this final weekend of June, you are given the choice of taking the kids with you to see a movie about talking cars, or leaving them at home to fend for themselves and seeing Cameron Diaz swear a lot.

Here's a trailer for Footloose—yes, that Footloose—which will ruin your childhood when it hits theaters in October. The remake, produced by MTV, stars newcomer Kenny Wormald as Ren, Dancing with the Stars' Julianne Hough as Ariel, and Dennis Quaid as Ariel's dance-banning preacher father. There's dancing! And driving! And fighting!

Canada's answer to a question nobody asked has rolled out his big superhero picture and it's not quite a hit. Meanwhile, another Canadian, name of Jim Carrey, isn't faring so well either.

Another superhero comes crashing into the multiplexes this weekend, but he's not the only game in town. Also debuting are a horse whisperer, a struggling major newspaper, and a whole bunch of penguins.

Full of footage not seen in the film's first trailer a couple of months ago, this one—out a month before its July 15 release—will hopefully provide a temporary fix to Potter addicts as they await their final dance with Harry, Ron, Hermione, and the rest of the gang. Here's a new, longer trailer for the Paul Rudd comedy Our Idiot Brother. This one has a lot more Emotion on display, as we see Paul Rudd's (occasionally) lovable fuckup inadvertently teaching his disapproving sisters (Elizabeth Banks, Zooey Deschanel, and Emily Mortimer) life lessons. Looks good, right?
