The Senate has passed financial reform, 60-39, sending it to the president's desk. Next?

It's unclear which illustrious message guru signed off on "Repeal Wall Street Reform" as the new Republican strategy going forward, but it's out of the cage now, before the final vote even takes place. Again: "Repeal Wall Street Reform."

The Senate has cleared the last procedural hurdle for financial reform and will hold a final vote on this, the Dodd-Frank bill, at 2 p.m. Last vote, we promise! Then Obama will sign it, because he "hates business."

It's over: Harry Reid has the votes for financial reform, final passage could come Thursday.

After holding up financial regulatory reform several times to make it more big-bank-friendly, John McCain's enemy, Scott Brown, has finally agreed to support the bill. Its passage seems likely now, although some new asshole will start whining soon enough.

America's irresponsible pill-popping step parents on Wall Street are breaking up with the Democrats, for being mean to them. See all of those donations they gave you during the 2008 cycle, Democrats? Well now they're going to Republicans, harumph!

S&P is so slick! The credit-rating agency has comically put rival Moody's on its watch list for a downgrade, replete with a lecture about how reform legislation (that applies to both firms) will devastate Moody's, only. Oh, it's on now.

Did you know that Sen. Scott Brown is our President, right now? He's calling all the shots on financial reform! He got what he wanted yesterday — removal of a bank tax — but still won't pledge to vote yes.

It didn't take sexy Massachusetts Sen. Scott Brown long to become Washington's Greatest Corporate Whore, did it? After Democrats inserted loopholes specifically to secure his vote, Brown has decided to vote no on the financial reform bill, threatening its passage.

As the New York Times *tried* to write earlier this morning, Sen. Robert's Byrd's death could affect pending financial reform legislation. No one is happier about this than Twitter whore Steve Forbes, who has his grave-dancin' boots out.

Republican campaigners and organizations are goin' nuts today over comments by Democratic Rep. Paul Kanjorski, where it looks like he's saying "minorities" aren't "average, good American people." Not really what he's saying, though, is the thing.

Democrat Blanche Lincoln, sworn enemy to the left, may see her Senate career come to an end tonight in Arkansas, where she faces a runoff against Lt. Gov. Bill Halter. The polls are close! Can she just lose already?
