A pool report from the U.S. press team covering Michelle Obama's tour of China notes that authorities ordered local merchants to hide their stock of "Obama-Mao" T-shirts from a section of the Great Wall where the First Lady and her daughters visited earlier today.

As long as we allow her husband to occupy the White House, First Lady Michelle Obama is determined to continue her dangerous crusade to get America's kids in shape. Who is that lady to tell my baby he ain't eating right?

Septuagenarian comeback kid Woody Allen told U.K. talk show Daybreak, "If I was in a room with Michelle Obama, and I thought she was right for a part, I wouldn't hesitate to ask her." And he isn't just whistling out of his clarinet hole with that offer: He cast Carla Bruni, wife of French president Nicolas Sarkovy, in Midnight in Paris after having dinner with the couple.

Michelle Obama is gathering hundreds of children at the White House tomorrow to attempt to break the Guinness Book of World Records record of the number of people doing jumping jacks at the same time. She's part of a push by National Geographic Kids to get more than 20,000 people around the world to do jumping jacks for one minute at the same time.

Hidden beneath a Nike cap and sunglasses, the First Lady pushed her own cart around the store for approximately 30 minutes, and was recognized only by her cashier. The White House confirmed that it was indeed Mrs. Obama rummaging through the discount Missoni chemise bin, with First Lady communications director Kristina Schake explaining, "It is not uncommon for the First Lady to slip out to run an errand, eat at a local restaurant or otherwise enjoy the city outside the White House gates." Cancel tomorrow's date night at Olive Garden immediately! The Darden Restaurant Group, which runs fine dining boutiques Red Lobster, Olive Garden, and other strip-mall destinations is getting itself healthy with Michelle Obama's help. That just ruins everything.
