Some online provocateurs launched an internet meme claiming Glenn Beck killed a young girl in 1990 to parody his maddening fact-free rhetorical style. Now Glenn Beck's trying to shut down their web site, ensuring that people will write about it.

On Fox & Friends this morning, Glenn Beck explained how Barack Obama must be stopped from using the PATRIOT Act—seriously!—to spy on whites by adding an aging British homosexual playing a wizard to his entertaining repertoire of impressions.

Fox News personalities like Glenn Beck have been attacking Obama's "green jobs czar," Van Jones for being, like, totally radical. But, haha, Jones published a book with HarperCollins, which is owned by News Corp., which owns Fox News. [News Hounds]

On the morning he was arrested on corruption charges last December, Rod Blagojevich was the nation's biggest greaseball. So obviously, the national press was willing to say anything to land an interview. And we've got their emails to prove it.

Poor, sad sack Glenn Beck has even more woes than just unwarranted, and ill-advised, threats on his life. Eleven more companies have decided to pull their ads from his Fox News program. Who are they?

• Charlie Gibson is retiring as anchor of ABC's World News Tonight at the end of the year; he'll be replaced by Diane Sawyer, who is stepping down as anchor of Good Morning America to take the job. And now Brian Williams will soon be the only man anchoring a nightly network newscast. [NYP]

Fox News again beat its competitors for primetime cable ratings. There's no accounting for taste.

Glenn Beck's on many rhetorical hit lists these days. And rightfully so: he's built his career out on fear-mongering and histrionics. It's costing him money, yes, but it's also garnering threats on his family. This should stop.

Fox News' Alisyn Camerota screwed up a throw on Fox & Friends this morning, causing Steve Doocy and Brien Kilmeade to cross swords when Doocy read Kilmeade's copy. So Kilmeade asked, "Why do we have women on the show?"

Well, probably hacked. Either hacked or Fox decided to break the news themselves that "Sean Hannity Blows his mom." Update:
