The much-hyped Lady Gaga episode of Glee ended up not being so much about Lady Gaga as it was about mothers and daughters, fathers and sons, friends and lovers, and a diversion through the KISS songbook. It was still awesome.
I have a problem with Glee, but I guess that can be pretty common these days. A lot of people don't like the show's fawning tone, its paper-thin characters, or the nigh-ridiculous soap opera storylines.
Now that we've met our new friend, how will we survive without it? It will be a long, cold winter until April 13 when Glee returns, but there was plenty to keep us warm in the great show choir showdown.
• Just as Jude Law is getting ready to play Hamlet on Broadway next month, his most recent baby mama, model Samantha Burke, has her lawyers offering up an exclusive interview and pics of their soon-to-be-born love child. Ah, there's nothing like milking a little publicity. [P6]
