One week after saying Wisconsin news anchor Jennifer Livingston was not a "suitable example for this community's young people" because she's overweight and just two days after doubling down on those comments, personal injury lawyer Kenneth Krause showed the empathy you'd expect from a man in his profession and offered a half-assed apology in an interview with ABC News today.

Actor Ron Livingston, best remembered for his roles as Peter Gibbons in Mike Judge's cult comedy Office Space and terrible breaker-upper Jack Berger in Sex in the City, finally weighed in yesterday on the ongoing saga of his local news anchor sister's very public smackdown of a viewer who said her size made her a poor role model for kids.

Personal injury lawyers are not very well liked in general, but Kenneth Krause managed to make himself the most hated man in America after he wrote a Wisconsin news anchor to complain that she's far too overweight to set a good example for young viewers, "girls in particular."

In a special four-minute comment that aired during this morning's news broadcast on La Crosse, Wisconsin's CBS affiliate WKBT, news anchor/reporter Jennifer Livingston responded to a viewer who wrote in to the station to chide Livingston for not providing "a suitable example for this community's young people, girls in particular," by appearing on television despite being overweight.
