Jewelry Designer Cuts; Hedge Funder Buys

Suzanne Sheik, the jewelry designer and mother of singer Duncan Sheik, has dropped the price of her 7,000-square-foot townhouse at 132 East 62nd Street. The five-story building, which Sheik bought from the estate of late socialite Phyllis Cerf Wagner for $8.5 million in 2007 and first listed for $17.5 million last year, is now priced at $15.5 million. Schnabel Sells Palazzo Chupi Triplex

Julian Schnabel has finally unloaded the triplex penthouse at his pink-hued Palazzo Chupi on West 11th Street. Originally listed for $32 million back in 2008, it sold for $10.5 million to Bill Brady, the head of Credit Suisse's technology banking practice. It's the second unit Brady has purchased in the building; he paid $15.5 million for another apartment three years ago. As for Brady's previous abode—a duplex at 744 Greenwich—he sold that place to Google co-founder Sergey Brin last September for $8 million. [NYO]
• Investor Keith Gollust has closed on the sale of his townhouse at 11 East 82nd Street. The 25-foot-wide building, which financier Ron Perelman once owned, had been on the market for $29.5 million when it went into contract last month. • Retired Lazard Frères partner Peter Smith (and the father of publicist/girl-about-town Bettina Prentice) has listed his 17-room apartment at 640 Park, the building that was home to former Lehman chief Dick Fuld until he sold his apartment last month for $25.87 million. Banker Seeks $45 Million at 998 Fifth

• Former Morgan Stanley vice chairman Bruce Fiedorek has "quietly" put his fifth-floor co-op at 998 Fifth Avenue on the market for around $45 million. The 7,000-square-foot apartment, which was renovated by Stephen Sills and James Huniford and is one floor up from Len Blavatnik, is being listed by Kathy Sloane. [NYO]
