"I'm doing a terrible job disciplining Tripp," Bristol Palin admits on her Lifetime reality show Life's a Tripp. And yes, giggling when your toddler calls his aunt a "faggot" is probably not a great way to let him know that's not a nice word.

Last night, Lifetime premiered its Bristol Palin: Life's a Tripp, a bad, boring reality show about a bad, boring person. "Hi, I'm Bristol Palin. I'm a 21-year-old single mom from Wasilla, Alaska. My son Tripp is the love of my life," was how she introduced herself, as though that would turn us all into Andy Cohens and watch what happens. When she said that her son Tripp gives her life "purpose and direction," my balls retracted.

Bristol Palin's reality series Life's A Tripp premieres tonight on Lifetime (early reviews call it "dull" and "depressing," but note that her son is cute), and still, the public's ravenous appetite for observing the lesser members of the Palin family in reality television settings remains unsatisfied.
