The increasing legality of marijuana means one thing: Pot is very easy to buy and no longer cool to do. To fill this thrill-void, our country's idiots are turning to insane substances like krokodil, bath salts, jenkum, meow meow and now flakka, transforming into psychotic murder machines in the process. Or so local news would have us believe.

The drug mephedrone, commonly referred to as "Meow Meow," has been driving teens to all kinds of destruction lately. Connor Scott, a 19-year-old Meow Meow addict, reportedly admitted this week to holding up two different British clothing stores with a machete. According to the police report, when cops caught up to him, Scott said, "Get me off the streets."

Last month, a 19-year-old college student reportedly stabbed his mother before slicing off his own penis while high on a synthetic drug called mephedrone, better known to the kids as "Meow Meow." Police found the teenager with his penis, or what was left of it, dangling out a window, spraying blood everywhere.

Spanish police have raided what they describe as the "largest and most sophisticated cocaine laboratory" in Europe, arresting 25 people, confiscating 300 kilos of coke, 470 cell phones, plus cash and weapons. But rest easy, European druggies: there's always meow-meow.

The UN's World Drug Report was released yesterday! Good news: Cocaine use in America has dropped significantly. Bad news: Meth use in America has skyrocketed. Also, Europe's appetite for coke has risen steadily over recent years. Everyone's on drugs.
