Now they're gearing up to take over Tripoli, the Libyan capital city. Like, for real this time.

Venezuela's blowhard President Hugo Chavez last week offered up his palace to citizens made homeless by floods and he's living up to it, telling Caracas residents, "Put up Gaddafi's gift. [...] I'm going to move into the tent." So proletariat!

Libyan authorities have for two days detained 10 journalists from Oea newspaper, which is owned by dictator Muammar Gaddafi's reformist son Saif al-Islam Gaddafi, for criticizing the Libyan government and urging a "final assault" on corruption in politics there. [Reuters]
