ian spiegelman · 05/04/08 11:54AMVladimir Nabokov's son, Dmitri, caused a big ol' sensation when he decided to publish his father's unfinished final novel, The Original of Laura, rather than burn the manuscript, like his dad had asked him to on his deathbed. Does Nabokov Have To Come Back from the Grave and Burn His Unfinished Manuscript Himself?
Sheila · 01/17/08 01:24PMVladimir Nabokov, Russian author of Lolita, specifically asked for his remaining, uncompleted work to be burned after his death. Is that too much to ask? Apparently it is. The piece is about how much the girls love to go shopping, and what they're like when they walk around a fancy mall in Westchester.

But what to do with that extra space and freedom? Don't believe it? Read on.
