Matt Cherette · 04/27/11 02:57AM

In case you haven't been reliving your teenage years recently, here's some news: New Kids on the Block and Backstreet Boys recently formed some sort of washed-up boy band supergroup called NKOTBSB. They're touring together this summer! And on Tuesday night's Dancing with the Stars results show, each group performed one of their biggest hits.

Donnie Wahlberg Can Get You a Kidney

Max Read · 04/26/11 08:29PM

Donnie Wahlberg isn't just an actor and beloved member of New Kids on the Block. He's also an organ broker! Not in the traditional, wake-up-with-a-huge-scar-in-a-hotel-bathtub-filled-with-ice way, either: Wahlberg helped a fan find a 100-percent legitimate new kidney, using only Twitter.

Madonna Demands to Be Less Domineering

Everyone is trying calm down before the weekend. Courtenay Semel totally made up for setting Casey Johnson's head on fire. Madonna tried to not be a demanding, terrible ball-buster constantly.

They're Not New, They're Not Kids, and Maybe Not Even An Editon Anymore, But We'll Take It!

It's a crappy world out there. The economy is in the pooper, oil is a million dollars a barrel, fires are raging out of control, and don't even get me started on other countries. But just when you think things are too bleak for words, life provides you with a little nugget of awesomeness. And today that nugget is the New Kids on the Block recording a song with New Edition! "But how can this be?" you ask. "I checked my watch and it's not the 1980s!" Well, thanks to the magic of reunions, the two reigning boy bands of our youth have joined forces and are making sweet music together (tragically sans Bobby Brown).

NKOTB a litmus test for whether aging fans use YouTube or not

Dianne de Guzman · 06/20/08 02:20PM

The cycle of music has found its way back to its 80s roots with the "comeback" of Aquanet-era boy band New Kids on the Block. Gone, however, are the days of cassette mixes and recording songs off the radio; thrust into the world of YouTube and Muxtape, the 'Kids are trying to catch up with the band's new oh-so-relevant website, complete with soon-to-be-launched "NKTV" and mobile ringtones. With the recently released song, "Summertime" flooding Yahoo Video and YouTube, how are our former tween heartthrobs faring online?

Creeeeeak.
