Inspired by the following (DIDDY DENIED) item from the New York Daily News' "Confidenti@l" column:

Beyoncé put on quite a show at the VMA after-party Sunday night at the Dream Downtown — screaming her head off when Diddy started a fight that broke out right next to her.

“Diddy got in a fight with someone partying too close to him and his girlfriend” Cassie, one guest tells Confidenti@l. “It was mayhem. Beyoncé was yelling to stop and Jay Z was separating people and getting people away from Bey.”

[...]

Witnessing the brawl were Jamie Foxx, Pharrell, Will.i.am, Russell Simmons and Busta Rhymes, who wisely came with a hulking bodyguard.

—here is an original one-act play, titled The Sound of Beyoncé Screaming:

ACT I

SCENE: Manhattan. The Ph-D rooftop lounge at the Dream Downtown hotel. A party is being held to mark the occasion of the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards. Many stars of videos are in attendance, and everyone smells good. SEAN JOHN COMBS and CASSIE VENTURA dance. VENTURA whips her sleek black hair over her bare shoulders and draws invisible hearts in the air above her head. COMBS mostly nods at VENTURA and at the room in general. He thinks about the 1970s, because he is 43.

J. Cole: (dances too near to SEAN JOHN COMBS and CASSIE VENTURA; possibly mumbles something unkind, though it is difficult to hear over the remix of "Blurred Lines" by ROBIN THICKE that is blaring over the speakers)

Sean John Combs: (begins to tussle with J. COLE; bottles of Cîroc premium vodka are knocked onto the floor and shatter; a non-famous person falls over; no punches are thrown)

Beyoncé: Stop!

Jay-Z, Jamie Foxx, Pharrell, Will.i.am, Russell Simmons, Busta Rhymes, Body guard of Busta Rhymes: (are also at the party)

[End scene]
