Remember how you said the only thing missing from Daft Punk's "Get Lucky" was an awesome reverse narrative music video shot during the biannual Chapman University coed Undie Run?

Well, you're in luck! Panthers Kevin Wolf, Daniel Burke, Zane Schwartz, and Johnny Wilcox took the liberty of putting together just such a video, and they didn't skimp on the awesome, neither.

"We did alot of practicing and rehearsals the night before the actual run, especially with the dancers," says Schwartz. "[W]e know the video isn't original as it has been done before but we planned it in a couple days and just did it for fun."

Not sure why there's even a debate about Song of the Summer. "Blurred Lines" isn't worthy enough to hold "Get Lucky"'s jock strap. A collective pavlovian response to tits does not make a good song people!

Get Lucky isn't that great in clubs, which is a huge part of big hits like that. High energy and dancing. You can dance to get lucky for sure, it's just not that high energy. Blurred Lines is awful though.

That's a fair point. I remember thinking Rihanna was total garbage, then I barteneded at a nightclub and watched every women in the place go apeshit when "Only Girl" came on and then it occurred to me that what makes good pop party music is different than my palette and is entirely context based.

Though, after a few months, a stockholm syndrome thing happened and I started liking Rihanna inspite of myself so who the fuck knows?

The dial turned a rotary switch with twelve positions, corresponding to VHF channels two through thirteen. In each position, the contacts on the outside face of one of the coils would come in contact with electrodes on the switch housing, thus inserting that particular coil into the middle of a tuning circuit. You'd tune the inductance of each individual coil by means of a ferrite core, threaded on the outside, screwed into the inside-threaded core of the coil; you'd turn it and thus screw it in or out of the coil with a special plastic screwdriver (an ordinary screwdriver made of paramagnetic metal would change the inductance of the coil mid-adjustment by its proximity). Dust and corrosion would accumulate on the contacts; techs at TV Repair Shops could buy a spray can of "Tuner Spray" to wash them shiny clean.

Also, hot college boys in underwear. That was a nice touch too.

First of all, lipdubbing backwards is always pretty amazing. One shot music videos are pretty amazing. A ton of mostly naked, beautiful college students is pretty amazing. The song is pretty amazing. This music video is pretty epic.
