Kesha filed a lawsuit against her producer, Dr. Luke, last week, alleging that he physically and sexually abused her beginning when she was 18. She says he drugged her and forced himself on her, and was so verbally abusive that he triggered the eating disorder that sent her to rehab.

That alleged abuse would have just started when Kesha wrote "7 a.m." in 2008. As BuzzFeed noted today, the unreleased track seems to describe the early stages of a relationship with a producer who's making Kesha "phat beats" and making her famous:

I was a fresh 18
(I'm bein' such a good girl)
You saw me while I sleep
(Get into my world)
You're makin' me phat beats
(Oh, God look at him)
You're sayin' that you think I got star quality.

They could certainly be reading too much into a song from six years ago, but the lyrics are somewhat disconcerting in light of her allegations against the producer, which include incidents like this:

On another occasion, Kesha claims after forcing her to drink with him, Dr. Luke gave her what he called "sober pills." Kesha claims she woke up the following afternoon, naked in Dr. Luke's bed, sore, sick … and with no memory of how she got there.

Yesterday, TMZ reported on a 2011 deposition in which Kesha said Dr. Luke had never given her a roofie and that they'd never had a sexual relationship. But even that statement under oath is in question:

"Luke walked Kesha down the beach and threatened to destroy Kesha's life and the lives of her family if she didn't cover up his sexual assaults," the singer's attorney responded.
