Every kid imagines the floor is lava, that Lego gun is really a Star Wars blaster, or they've really got Batman's grappling hook. But not every kid has a Dreamworks animator for a dad.

Daniel Hashimoto whipped up some homemade visual effects to turn the action scenes from his son's imagination into something out of ... well, a movie with at least some VFX budget, anyway.

"My 3-year-old kid is awesome. He gets into some epic situations which remind me that life is an adventure," he writes on YouTube.

And what does the Action Movie Kid himself think about his dad's videos?

Pretty cool, but "what if I did that for real-sies, Dad?"
