Jim "Pee Wee" Martin parachuted down to Nazis-controlled Utah Beach the night before the Allied troops' invasion of Normandy, or D-Day, which was 70 years ago today. Now 93, Martin suited up and took the jump again. "It didn't [compare]," Martin told CNN, "because there wasn't anybody shooting at me today."

The former paratrooper maintains quite the Facebook page and continues to speak frankly of his time in the service. "Everybody [was] scared all the time, and if they tell you anything differently they are full of crap," he said. "But you just do what you had to do regardless of it. That's the difference."
