Just 20 months after it capsized off the Italian coast, the Costa Concordia cruise ship was finally pulled completely upright early Tuesday morning. The “daring and unprecedented” operation took 19-hours, but you can watch the whole parbuckling in the one-minute video above.

From the Associated Press:

"We completed the parbuckling operation a few minutes ago the way we thought it would happen and the way we hoped it would happen," said Franco Porcellacchia, project manager for the Concordia's owner, Costa Crociere SpA.

"A perfect operation, I must say" with no environmental spill detected so far, he said.

The ship will be floated from the Giglio Island coast and converted to scrap metal.

The Concordia crashed into a reef on January 13, 2012 and eventually capsized, killing 32 people. Francesco Schettino, the ship's captain, has been charged with manslaughter, causing a shipwreck and abandoning the ship during its evacuation.
