While we're waiting for the Tyco jury to come back from deliberations — yeah, anyone remember that scandal? The executives who allegedly stole $600 million from their company, nearly bankrupting Tyco? No?

Don't worry, because the NY Post wants Shamoon Rafiq, Google IPO scammer, to be the next juicy court case. It's more in tune with our short attention spans anyway — and it involves people who eat at Pastis! Someone's selling this story to Hollywood right now. Says the Post:

Shamoon "Sam" Rafiq partied at Lotus, dined at Pastis, and, according to the feds, managed to rip off roughly $3 million from some of the business world's elite. [...] During his brief time in New York, though, Rafiq cut an impressive figure. Former friends say he paid for everything - including women - in cash. "He was addicted to sex," said a woman who was friends with Rafiq. "He constantly bragged about spending the night with call girls and hookers."

Now that's class. The US Attorney's Office has until April 5th to get a grand jury indictment, which shouldn't be too hard.
