It may seem that we're extrapolating a couple of less than favorable opinions into a blanket indictment of Hollywood's sainted penny-pinching class, but that's only because we've yet to receive an incensed rebuttal from the Benevolent Order of Entertainment Industry Business Managers. (Even the worst biz manager is probably better than setting an agent loose with your PIN for ten minutes.). But here's another reader, a former employee of a Big Celebrity, taking a poke:

I agree with what the guy who wrote in about Hollywood business managers. When I worked for [INCREDIBLY FAMOUS CELEBRITY], all her "business manager" cared about was skimming off the top, such as taking a bill for $500 from a hairstylist intended to go to Viacom or something and tacking on $300 extra that she would pocket when the cash came back... And you know they want in on the licensing deals! (I won't even mention the icky way this manager tried to get her kids to mingle with this celebrity's kids so as to form a "bond"... gross.
