Superpublicist Leslee Dart was fired by publicity juggernaut PMK Wednesday night, sent packing after coming up on the short end of a power struggle with Head Flack in Charge Pat Kingsley. From Variety's account:

"Basically, Leslee felt her time had come to run a company," Kingsley said. "I'm not ready to stop being the leader of this company and I felt that it was important for her to realize that. So while it may be her time to run a company, I didn't feel it was time for her to run this company."

We've heard that the dismissal was accompanied by the standard humiliation of computer and file seizure that all high-level execs go through as they're kicked to the curb. But Kingsley extended Dart the opportunity to take place in an arcane publicist dispute-resolution ritual, wherein the two reps were locked in a conference room for a ten-minute, no-holds-barred, jello-and-broken-glass wrestling match. And we all know who came out looking like a sticky, blood-encruted mosaic, don't we?
