For those of you inexplicably itching to get a jump start on your holiday shopping, a few of the holiday shops at Bryant Park have opened up early, presumably for the cracktards who happen to be ice skating in 70-degree weather at the new pond. Lucky for us, one of those early-bird shops is the New York Times Store, which carries a wealth of options for the Sulzberger lover in your life.

If you're looking for the perfect present for your Gawkers, we'd love the ceramic pencil cup (above), which features a full-page reproduction of the Times front page from January 22, 2003 — complete with a below-the-fold Judith Miller byline. Just a hunch, but we're guessing these are going to sell out (especially if Judy walks before Christmas).

Also, kudos to the Gray Lady — we'd never guess she had the sense of humor to turn a profit by selling souvenirs off this mess.
