An operative notes some curious activity going on right now at Les Moonves's television fortress:

Right now — 3:35 p.m. — the third ABC Eyewitness newsvan with live satellite capability has arrived outside the Dancing With The Stars studio (which is at CBS Television City). Three. Three newsvans. That's how newsworthy this episode is. Nothing else going on in LA worth sending a newsvan out for, I guess.

We haven't seen a single episode of the show this season, having decided that we prefer a celebrities-doing-things-for-which-they're-hilariously -ill-suited show that promises a chance that a desperate C-lister will catch a toepick in the face. But Dancing's "last dance" is liberally teased on the local news station's website, however, and we assume that the newsvan blitz is there to make sure that when the two losing couples [SPOILER ALERT] light themselves on fire and perform a final tango of despair, their soft-news reporters don't miss a single, smoldering dance step.
