In three hours, Apple will announce its secret new product. As always, the company's stayed coyly silent, and the Apple rumor kiddies have shouted every possible prediction, and have long since moved to the impossible ones.

But that photo of the new full-screen video iPod? No. The photographer released a video showing how he Photoshopped that baby up. Above is a YouTubed copy. The original's here (.mov file).

My condolences to AOL exec Jason Calacanis, who was too smart to believe the hoax, but like the rest of us, really really wanted it.
