Has the struggling-to-stay-on-top Daily News adopted the Sun's give-it-away circ strategy? A favorite source files this report from Brooklyn Heights:

young good looking blond man giving out free daily newses at the corner of montague and clinton this morning in brooklyn heights. he looked like he had about 10 bundles to get rid of. people were lapping them up, but looking confused as to why the paper that costs 50 cents inside the rite aid 6 feet away was free outside.

Anyone else have similar sightings? (Ideally with Newses, but we'll take any reports of cute blond boys giving it away for free.) Let us know. If we find three, it's a trend!
