PaidContent.org has new deets on Jason Calacanis' upcoming takeover of Netscape.com. The Weblogs, Inc. founder plans to turn Netscape into a Digg-like site.

Will it be tech-centered like Digg or targeted toward general consumers, asks PaidContent. Well, given that the only folks still opening Netscape.com in the morning are —

people who work at Netscape (a falling number),
people who date people who work at Netscape (natch), and
your parents, who never change the homepage and still haven't found the address bar,

— a non-techie orientation might work best for Netscape's audience.
