Tori Spelling and her new, grifted beau Dean McDermott's love unfolded like a classic fairy tale in which an opportunistic prince met a billionaire TV producer king's daughter on the set of a Lifetime movie, promptly ditched his wife and family, then demonstrated the depth of his new commitment by covering himself in bad tattoos. Now, we get our fairy tale ending: A weekend wedding on the sandy beaches of Fiji, and, according to The Scoop, whispers of a tiny, future Spelling Television production star on the way:

One of the sources says that Spelling was spotted shopping for baby things at Petit Tresor, the Los Angeles store for tykes favored by celebs including Britney Spears and Tom Cruise and Kate Holmes.

"She was looking at things like cribs in a way that made it pretty clear that she wasn't just looking to buy things for someone else," says the source.

A professional attention vacuum such as Spelling knows that to facilitate potential Hollywood eavesdropping opportunities, one must pepper one's shrieks of nursery-furniture excitement with plenty of first-person, possessive pronouns and easy-to-interpret hints. ("My baby will love sleeping in this crib in my condo with me, the mother, and Dean McDermott, my new husband and the baby's father!") And while shopping at popular celebrity baby boutiques is a good start, until Spelling is ready to make headlines by throwing the screaming newborn into a motorcycle sidecar or accidentally dropping it from the kitchen table as she reaches for the butter, she'll have a long way to go before reaching Tom Cruise or Britney Spears levels of baby-whoring self-promotion.
