What do you mean, that's not news? Lilliputian and putatively homeless model Isobella Jade may be writing her memoir in the Apple Store, but she still has time to join the hottest new marketing trend: a video trailer for your book. Thrill to Isobella dashing about the streets of New York in heels and a little black dress, briefly disrobing, noshing a few choice selections from the Wendy's dollar menu, spilling coffee, and rendering a voiceover that could challenge any on Grey's Anatomy for sheer tedium. Totally sucks about her MySpace page, though.

The point is that no one cares about stories of failure unless it's really good or fucked up i.e., the hooker in the bathroom.

If she succeeds, then there might be a story but as far as this idiot can tell, she's patting herself on the back for not doing anything except squatting.

Why won't this slob give it up. I mean really. What's she have to say? It's not like she's Rudy and the little guy wins. Plus, whose going to read about a broke freeloader who never gets a job. Where's the redemption???

And meanwhile back at the ranch, a real model dies in an inferno on the NJ turnpike and she doesn't get a mention.

You snobs. The only problem I see with her is she showed up in Manhattan about two decades too late. A homeless 'model' writing a book would have been great schtick back in the 80s, Andy Warhol would have adopted her. It would have worked even better in the 60s or the 70s, free spirit that she is. Like the hooker that lived in the bathroom in 'Car Wash.' Didn't you want to know her story?

C'mon! Spare a tear for the geeks at the Apple store; you think a REAL model would spend hours with them? Next to dressing and undressing World of Warcraft avatars, this is as much action as they've ever seen!
