Yesterday's story about a Cornell undergrad navigating the big, bad world of the Graham Ave. L stop inspired a tipster to regale us with his (her?) own tale of woe:

I've BEEN to that horrible "west bushwick" apartment, albeit pre-marie antoinette murals.

This Dave Garman character gave me a bil ol' faggy soul kiss despite never having met me and proceeded to put on quite a show on the in-house stripper pole (whose grand history I'm now fully apprised of—thanks cornell sun!). Those kids stank to high heaven of recent new york transplantiness—his parents probably just moved down to the upper west from bronxville or something.

Not only that, but:

and I was lectured by a short black hipster (blipster if you will) on the horrors of gentrification. I was like, you've got to be kidding me, this kid is from ITHACA, and the other people at the party were like, no no, he bagged GROCERIES in Ithaca.

Perhaps his good friends have found him new, gainful employment at the McCarren Park Farmer's Market.
