  • Loews heir Jon Tisch is rumored to be paying $48 million for an apartment at 2 East 67th Street, the co-op that's also home to Leonard and Evelyn Lauder and Arthur Carter. Tisch and second wife Lizzie have been renting at Trump Park Avenue since Jon sold his duplex at 950 Fifth Avenue to Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz back in January. [NYDN]
  • Restaurateur Phil Suarez and his wife Lucy paid $2.2 million for a second apartment at One Lexington Avenue. The seller? Winona Ryder. The couple is expected to combine it with the first-floor apartment they they've lived in since 2004.
  • Now that she has a spacious penthouse in Midtown, Oprah pal Gayle King is selling off her home in Greenwich, Conn. She's asking $7.45 million for the 10,433-square-foot estate, which features four fireplaces, three garages, and a pool, and sits on four acres of land. [Real Estalker, Sotheby's]
  • Hedge fund manager Julian Baker paid $7.5 million for a condo at 345 West 13th Street, the building he's lived in since 2002. The sixth floor apartment is adjacent to his current digs, so he'll likely combine the units into a duplex.
  • Artist Bokara Legendre (whose mother, Gertrude, was a Southern debutante-turned POW during WWII) has paid $8.1 million for a 15th floor apartment at 1035 Fifth Avenue. Her new neighbors in the building include interior designer Richard Mishaan and attorney Stephen Dannhauser.
  • Real estate developer R. Donahue Peebles paid $1.91 million for a three-bedroom house in Sag Harbor. But Peebles says he's going to use the property as a guest house while he continues to reside at the 10-acre Bridgehampton home he bought for $5.39 million last year. [Newsday via TRD]
