It looks like you won't be seeing any less of Keith Olbermann on MSNBC anytime soon. Back in January, Phil Griffin, the network's president, told the Times that finding a new show to replace the rerun of Olbermann's Countdown at 10pm was a "top priority." But MSNBC's plans have changed, it seems. Griffin now says he's putting an "indefinite hold" on the search for someone new, which may have something to do with the fact a canned Olbermann still usually beats out CNN's Anderson Cooper:

On a handful of nights, a rerun of Olbermann has even beaten a live Cooper in the 25-to-54-year-old demographic that MSNBC watches most closely.

But that isn't the only Olbermann-related embarrassment for Cooper that has landed in his lap in recent days. At the 20th annual GLAAD Media Awards, it was Olbermann who showed up to accept an award and support the cause, while Cooper stayed was nowhere to be found. But if Cooper was hoping no one would notice, well, that didn't turn out to be the case: The evening's MC, comedian Kate Clinton, was kind enough to point it out to the crowd.
