Our president-elect took to Youtube again this morning to finally tell us what he was going to do save the economy, and well, it sounds a little underwhelming: "replacing old heating systems and installing efficient light bulbs." In federal government buildings. Sure, he went on to say that he's planning a massive public works project to build roads and schools, but it reminds us why Barack Obama has been sticking to his "one president at a time" line: first, he doesn't want to be stuck in the political trap of taking responsibility for the nation before he has the power to do anything, and second, actual governing is boring. Which may be why our current president decided to skip it entirely.
