Everyone got bored with attacking idiot Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich at some point mid-yesterday, so naturally today brought the SHAME ON HIS WIFE stories.

Here's a CNN reporter outside the Guv's house holding up a newspaper headline about what a bitch Patti Blago is!

That hed, from the Sun-Times, is not as amusing as what the New York Post went with today, of course. Why is Patti a bitch? Well, she swore on those tapes, like a common sailor. Also she is implicated in the many shady things Rod did, because he kept trying to get her well-compensated new jobs with non-profits and things like that. She also kept getting suspiciously large commissions from real estate deals involing Tony Rezko and other folks who did business with the state of Illinois!

But, you know, we can't hate her. Because this is the most damning thing she says in the criminal complaint:

"During the call, Rod Blagojevich's wife can be heard in the background telling Rod Blagojevich to tell Deputy Governor A 'to hold up that fucking Cubs shit ... fuck them'"

And, honestly, "Fuck the Cubs" is a sentiment all Americans can get behind.
