According to TMZ, Gary Coleman was rushed to the hospital at 8:03 this morning. From Different Strokes to his own animated show to high school security guard to Divorce Court, Gary Coleman's has always lived his life on TV.

We all loved him as Arnold on Different Strokes. We appreciated how he used to ask Willis what he was talkin' 'bout. We adored his tiny frame.

He proved cute enough to merit an animated spin off called The Gary Coleman Show.

At 17, he realized, "There's nothing left now, it seems to me, for some reason...What's left? What am I going to do now?" Despite that, he was still serving up large doses of that legendary Coleman pluck.

We were all surprised, but not confused to see this video of him as a high school security guard.

Still strapped for cash, we saw Coleman plugging the maligned predatory lending service Cash Call.

While filming Church Ball, Gary met the love of his life: a woman who had never seen Different Strokes. He lost his virginity, Hollywood gained a power couple.

We saw the two lovebirds on Divorce Court. To quote Justice Lynn Toler, "What did you think was going to happen?" Strangely, the divorce didn't seem to stick, as Shannon Price was arrested for domestic abuse as recently as July 2, 2009 [TMZ]

The movie he was promoting this morning, Midgets vs. Mascots, includes a free pack of "midget condoms" with every purchase.
