Jon Stewart Butts Heads with Former Bush Speechwriter

Tonight, Jon Stewart had Mark Thiessen on The Daily Show to discuss his new book, Courting Disaster, which alleges that the CIA kept the country safe and that President Obama is "inviting" a new attack. Things got heated. Video inside.

The full interview, which ran about 11 minutes, is available on Mediaite. Below, the last few minutes, in which—after a discussion about the lawyers Thiessen refers to as the "Al-Qaeda Seven" and claims are damaging the country by representing accused terrorists, which Stewart shot down through simple comparison—tensions rose after Thiessen repeatedly accused Stewart of filibustering, which only got worse once he found out that time was nearly up and he'd have to make the rest of his points post-show.
