Minute To Win It Continues Trend of Pointless Game Shows
NBC's newest game show Minute to Win It may not be the worst show on NBC, but that's only because we're reserving that title for The Marriage Ref. This show is right behind it.
Minute to Win It continues the trend of needlessly simple game shows by having contestants compete in absurdly simple physical challenges that must be completed in less than 60 seconds. This includes banging your head forward 125 times, bouncing ping pong balls into fishbowls, shuffling plastic cups and completely emptying a box of tissues. Basically, it's the kind of games you come up with while bored and drunk at a house party. Winning gets contestants higher in a Who Wants to Be A Millionaire style prize-money pyramid, and games get harder until the contestant runs out of their three lives.
Oh, and it's hosted by Guy Fieri. Yea. That guy. Strike two, NBC. Or is that strike three? Or four? I think I've lost count.
