Substitute the mylar balloon for a yellow dinghy and the quest for a reality show with an international custody battle and, voila! Law and Order's Boat Girl is born! Unfortunately for us, she never makes a gaffe on Larry King.

When the international custody battle between a little girl's father on American soil and his ex-wife in Brazil (get it?) turns ugly after the child's stepfather is poisoned at a climate change summit, the girl suddenly disappears on her little yellow boat into Long Island Sound. Cue CNN.

Of course, it only takes a few hours for the young girl to come out of hiding and reveal that—whoops!—she was nowhere near that boat but rather safely drugged up and asleep in another part of the house.

Guess this is as close to TV fame as the Heeneys will ever get, huh?
