Erick Erickson Hates It When You Mention Things He Says
CNN's Erick Erickson said that if a Census worker comes to his house, he'll get his wife's shotgun "and see how that little ACS twerp likes being scared at the door." Then on his blog he whined about being "misconstrued."
It's not actually possible to misconstrue that, Erick. You said that if a census worker comes to your door, to do a survey, you will threaten him or her with a shotgun, in order to scare him or her.
But no, sorry, as soon as anyone calls Erick Erickson on his shit, he retreats to some other medium to whine about being taken out of context or "misconstrued" or whatever the fuck. I can't think of very many ways to "construe" a Tweet calling David Souter a "goat-fucking child molester."
(Hint, Erick: when professionals use humorously exaggerated, over-the-top descriptors like that, the mean things they say have to actually have something to do with the subject of the japery. Like, when we say "bloated, disingenuous hack Erick Erickson," the "joke" is that you are literally all of those things.)
When Howie Kurtz gently, lovingly invited Erick to explain the monstrous and idiotic things he has said about people, all he could do was give shitty excuses about how he didn't mean any of the things he said and wrote and Tweeted. As Ken Layne said: "There is nothing worse than a chickenshit coward who will not even stand by his own words that he posted on his own blog." (Also: "Fucking shit-eating fraud." Another factually accurate description of Erick Erickson.)
