Upset that Wisconsin high schools are teaching comprehensive sex ed to students, Juneau County District Attorney Scott Southworth says he will prosecute anyone who follows a state law that requires schools to teach students about contraception. Progressivism is destroying America!

Perhaps emboldened by Bristol Palin's heroic stance on teen pregnancy, Southworth, a staunch Republican, says he has no aspirations for higher office, but anti-abortion groups are rallying around his vain attempt to keep horny teens from doing what they're going to do anyway. Teachers, like Mike Taake, who has taught sex ed for 30 years, finds this crusade ridiculous. ''Seems like a step back in time,'' he told the AP.

The new sex ed law, drafted by Democratic Gov. Jim Doyle, is unpopular with conservatives, even though they can offer no proof that teaching about condoms and birth control pills actually makes teens want to bone more than they already do. Southworth says teachers can face up to nine months in jail and a $10,000 fine for contributing to the delinquency of a minor. And that, right there, is another brave step towards saving our country.
