Ritter delivers the grim, the banal, and the inane as the anchor of WABC's 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. broadcasts along with Liz Cho.

Beginning his career in print journalism at the Los Angeles Times and San Diego Business Journal, Ritter first stepped in front of the camera with an NBC affiliate in San Diego. He made a name for himself reporting on the Rodney King trial for Fox and subsequently graduated to the big time with ABC on Good Morning America Sunday and 20/20. Covering all of the 90s hot topics from Princess Diana's funeral and the Columbine shootings, Ritter eventually settled in with Eyewitness News in 1999, where he's been ever since, on the 11 pm and 6 pm broadcasts.
