Christine Schwarzman
Christine wasn't born rich-she's the daughter of a NYC firefighter-but she has a knack for marrying the extremely wealthy. The former intellectual property lawyer was married to publishing heir Austin Chilton Hearst before tying the knot with financier Steve Schwarzman in 1995.
Coming out of Hicksville, Long Island, she is the daughter of Peggie and Peter Mularchuk. Schwarzman attended school at Hofstra University and received her law degree from New York University. Formerly a senior associate at Cowan, Liebowitz & Latman specializing in intellectual property law, she now has the privilege of doing precious very little with her time.
Christine married Austin Chilton Hearst, grandson to William Randolph Hearst, in 1984 and they share one daughter together. She later remarried Steve Schwarzman in 1995, one of the worlds most powerful financiers and co-founder of Blackstone group. The Schwarzman's are well known spendthrifts, and much to the great discomfort of everyone else, spend absurd amounts of money on birthday parties, lavish homes, and stone crabs.
Currently, they reside at 740 Park Avenue in a triplex that cost a cool $30 million in 2000.
