Chimp Attack Woman Finally Leaves Hospital
To get an idea of how brutal chimp attacks are: the Connecticut woman who was attacked by an ape in February of 2009 has just been released from hospital. She "hopes for more reconstructive surgery."
Charla Nash, says her goal is to "learn to live independently." From the AP report: "The 200-pound pet chimpanzee went berserk in February 2009 after its owner asked Nash to help lure it back into her house in Stamford, Conn. The animal ripped off Nash's hands, nose, lips and eyelids."
It ripped off her goddamned hands. She will now live in an assisted-living center to continue her rehabilitation. Travis, the chimpanzee (pictured) was shot and killed by police.
