Los Angeles voted to join the boycott on Arizona, and Arizona said, "bring it." Corporation commissioner Gary Pierce says "Arizona's utilities would be happy" to cripple L.A.'s electrical supply, much of which they control. It's an interstate commerce catfight!

On the other hand, we may finally have a reason to like Arizona: We'll stop complaining about your shitty immigration law if you promise to pull the plug on L.A., OK?

Update: In response to your comment clamor, I feel obligated to pointed out that, no, Arizona can't turn all of L.A.'s lights off, nor does it have the power to ruin the finale of American Idol. But Arizona can certainly be a pugnacious pain in the ass. Arizona is the new Texas? [CBS, AZCentral]
