According to the BBC, Malusi Gigaba, South Africa's deputy minister of home affairs, is looking into the possibility of a complete ban on all smut—including racy internet content and even cellphone porn.

"Cars are already provided with brakes and seatbelts," the BBC report Gigaba saying. "There is no reason why the internet should be provided without the necessary restrictive mechanisms built into it."

Sigh. If history has taught us one lesson, it may be that people will always want to look at other people naked and that it is pointless to try and stop them.
