LIVE: The 2010 Tony Awards
Get your jazz hands ready, theater nerds enthusiasts. It's time to watch Sean Hayes (a.k.a. JUST JACK) twinkle about the stage introducing musical numbers while trying to reclaim his late 90's fame. Tune in at 8 p.m. EST on CBS.
This shindig is supposed to end at 11 p.m., but who knows how long it'll actually last. You know how dramatic those theater people can be. But while you wait anxiously to see if any GLEE folks will show up or whether or not Liza Minnelli will perform Single Ladies, here's some info to get you up to speed on this year's star studded show tune spectacular.
- The official site of the 2010 Tony Awards.
- Your full list of nominees. GO WALKEN!

So crank up the American Idiot soundtrack to get pumped up. It's going to be a big gay night of fancy fun!
If you haven't participated in one of our live blogs before, don't fret-it's easy! All you need to do is tune your TV to CBS (I know, I know. True Blood premieres tonight. But hellooooo! That's what DVR is for. The sexy vampires and werewolves can wait. This is live theater, people! Live. Theater.) watch the awards show, and discuss all the action with everyone else in the comments. It's really as simple as that. If you don't have a commenter account yet, just sign up for one (it literally takes seconds) and we'll get you approved and in on the action right away.
See you in the comments! *Exits stage left*
