Barry Diller runs a virtual harem of internet properties at his IAC, but every year he flirts with other startups at the Sun Valley mogulfest. The question this year: Will Diller finally dump Ask.com — and who will he insult?

The New York Post is speculating Diller might finally use the retreat to offload the former Ask Jeeves, which still supplies half of IAC's revenue. If so, the mogul should consider watching his tongue for once. Last year at Sun Valley he insulted startup-of-the-moment Twitter by observing (correctly) that the microblogging company didn't make much revenue. Then Diller blabbed (not necessarily incorrectly) about how Google's founders are attention-deficit-disordered narcissists. If Diller wants to finally sell Ask, he should stick to friendly meetings in the bushes and avoid all the negging.
