Paul Baldwin is a 49-year-old man from Portsmouth, New Hampshire. As of June, Baldwin has been arrested 154 times for arson, trespassing, receiving stolen property and theft, among others offenses. His most recent arrest was for stealing 48 beers.

Only 12 days before Baldwin's most recent arrest, he had just finished up a one year jail sentence for stealing a $1.99 beer. For that arrest, last year, Baldwin told the judge that he didn't need a lawyer, because "I've been in this court more than you have." Portsmouth police Capt. Corey MacDonald called Baldwin "a leech on the resources of this community." According to Seacoast Online:

MacDonald cited Baldwin's criminal history as including 152 arrests, eight trespass notices, 75 citations, four different Social Security number aliases and convictions for thefts, receiving stolen property, arson and criminal mischief.

Baldwin's latest arrest—for stealing two 18-packs and one 12-pack of beer from a convenience store—was in nearby Kittery, Maine, where Police Chief Edward Strong told the local NBC station, "I've been here 32 years, and I've never seen anyone with an arrest record this long." Keep it up, Paul!
